GARY WICKERING
YHDP Project Manager: Gary joined the Partnership Center in 2023. Gary's responsibilities include managing PCL’s activities associated with the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program's (YHDP) Technical Assistance (TA) effort. Gary conducts HMIS and data-focused TA activities with all YHDP grant recipient communities across the country.
Prior to joining PCL, Gary was a director of HMIS. In that role, he managed the HMIS systems for Iowa and Omaha, NE, Continuums of Care. Gary spent his career making data usage, literacy, and accuracy his focus, pushing his communities to back data-informed decision-making when looking at funding and coordination of care for clients experiencing homelessness. Gary has extensive knowledge and experience working with a variety of HUD and federal partner programs. He has served on multiple CoC boards, subcommittees, and work teams, as well as being a former appointee to the Iowa Governor's Homelessness Council.
